Andrew Kucks and Band
Take Toowoomba's most versatile entertainer, add the cream of the city's musicians and you get a great night out.
This slick five-piece outfit covers today’s hits and takes you on a fabulous trip down memory lane as well.
Andrew Kucks is equally at home on piano or guitar and his experience across many genres gives him a song base for any occasion.
Andrew rose to prominence on the local music scene after the successful Toowoomba Pianomen concerts held at the Empire Theatre in 2007 and 2008.
These performances have cemented his place as one of the region’s favoured corporate acts through such functions as the Angel Flight Ball 07 and 08, The Chronicle Best in Business Awards 07, Rotary State Conference 08 and Careflight 08.
To keep up with the demands of such a diverse mix of styles and genres, Andrew has recruited some of Toowoomba's finest musicians to take up the challenge.
Nathan Walmsley (drums) and Jared Walmsley (bass) provide the perfect engine-room combination with the perfect vocal harmonies for any function or corporate celebration.
Chris Hartley is probably best known for his work on Hammond organ. The combination of having two keyboard players on stage provides an electric partnership with energy that can’t be matched.
Dale Robbins on guitar is a show within the show. His strong grooves and scintillating solo style balances this unit perfectly.
Listen out for the vocal harmonies in songs like the Eagles 'Hotel California', the rampant Clavinova in Stevie Wonder's 'Superstition', the wailing guitars in Cold Chisel's 'When the war is over' or the simple piano work in Elton John's 'Tiny Dancer'.
These musicians are the best of the Toowoomba entertainment scene and will deliver a performance that will have your guests dancing in the aisles and yelling for more.
