Jack & Jill

Oldmate and That Chick, better known as Jack & Jill, is an exciting new duo designed around Saturday entertainment. Usually weddings and private functions, although a strong following is emerging amongst local clubs and hotels.
The idea of having a female singer to complement Oldmate's singing is something that only diversifies the product. Jackie has a great voice and is able to stamp her own mark on the duo. A wider range of songs can now be catered for, particularly important for wedding receptions where there is a more diverse audience. You can find the Duo songs in the main songlist under the category Jack & Jill. There are a number of harmonised songs that are done differently to the way Oldmate does them on his own. Oldmates Band

For larger functions, Oldmate's popular acoustic show is now easily expanded to a three piece. With the talents of Jared (Bass) and Nathan (Drums) Walmsley, an excellent vocal unit ready for any occasion.
Stage, PA and lighting rigs also can be arranged so that no venue is too large. Contact Oldmate and ask about your options.

Killin Time

Gympie Muster Talent Search backing band since 1989. The band can be up to five piece depending on your needs. Guitar, Keyboards, Bass, Drums and Steel.
This house band is perfect for talent search type scenarios. As at the Gympie Muster, this band plays music 'off the cuff' all you need do is provide the contestants and make sure they have charts available. They can also do a 'walk up' concert, where anyone can just walk up and do a few songs with the band. If you have ever been to the Tamworth Festival, the Coke Show was run this way. Obviously over the past 17 years they have backed many Country music artists on their way to bigger and better things. Artists like Tina Martin, Brooke and Samantha McClymont, Brendon Walmsley, Gina Jefferies, Troy Cassar-Daly, Laurel Edwards, Shane Hogan, Anthony Taylor, Luella, Alyce Simmons, Lyn Bowtell and Felicity to name a few.

The PianoMan and the Guitar Man

Corny as it sounds, it is just that. Take one of Toowoomba's best known Pianomen, add Warwicks consumate Guitarist, and you are in for quite a night. Recently Oldmate joined up with Toowoomba's Pianomen for a memorable night at the Empire Theatre, and reminded many of the audience that he used to cut the scene in the Piano Bars. Phillip Vellacott is Warwicks guitar guru, having toured Australia with the Brian Young Show and played extensively across the south east. Together their infectious humour and obvious passion for a variety of musical styles ensures you will be led on a nostalgic journey from the 50's to today.
